How to Connect

Connection guide tailored to your device

On Android, use the Shadowsocks app. It is available for free on Google Play.

Download the App

Install "Shadowsocks" from Google Play.

Add a Profile

Tap "+" → "Manual Settings" and enter the connection details from your email.
· Server: Server IP · Port: Port number · Password: Password · Encryption: Encryption method

Connect

Select the profile and tap the ▶ button to connect. Tap "OK" when prompted to allow the VPN connection.

On iPhone and iPad, use the Sockswitch app. It is available for free on the App Store.

Download Sockswitch

Install "Sockswitch" from the App Store.

Add a Server

Tap "Server" → "Add" and enter the connection details.
· Server IP · Port · Encryption type · Password

Connect

Tap the server and turn on the connect toggle. Allow VPN configuration when prompted.

Manage from VPN Settings

We recommend connecting/disconnecting from "Settings → VPN". Turn it off when not in use to save battery.

On Windows, use Shadowsocks for Windows.

Download

Download the latest version of Shadowsocks for Windows and extract it.

Server Configuration

Launch Shadowsocks.exe → Enter Server Addr / Port / Password / Encryption → Click "Apply".

Enable Proxy

Right-click the taskbar icon → "System Proxy" → "Global" to complete the connection.

On Mac, use ShadowsocksX-NG.

Download

Download ShadowsocksX-NG and move it to the Applications folder.

Server Configuration

Click the menu bar icon → "Server Preferences" and enter the connection details.

Connect

Click the menu bar icon → "Turn Shadowsocks On" to complete the connection.
